Siesta is a sleep and focus sound generation app developed by Nick Thompson. This policy describes how the app handles your data.

Data collection

Siesta does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. The app has no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking.

All audio synthesis happens locally on your device using native iOS frameworks. No data leaves your device.

Specifically, Siesta does not:

  • Collect your name, email, or any identifying information
  • Access your contacts, photos, camera, microphone, health data, or location
  • Use cookies, pixels, or any tracking technology
  • Send data to any server, API, or third-party service
  • Include advertising SDKs or analytics frameworks
  • Store any data on your device beyond standard iOS app preferences

Third-party services

Siesta uses no third-party services. The app is self-contained and operates entirely offline.

Children's privacy

Siesta does not collect data from anyone, including children under 13. The app is compliant with COPPA and does not require parental consent because no data is collected.

European users (GDPR)

Because Siesta collects no personal data, GDPR data subject rights (access, rectification, erasure, portability) do not apply in practice. No personal data is processed or stored.
