AZ-140 Prep is an exam preparation app developed by Nick Thompson. This policy describes how the app handles your data.

Data collection

AZ-140 Prep does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. The app has no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking.

All quiz questions, study content, and glossary terms are bundled in the app. Quiz progress is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. No data leaves your device.

Specifically, AZ-140 Prep does not:

  • Collect your name, email, or any identifying information
  • Access your contacts, photos, camera, microphone, health data, or location
  • Use cookies, pixels, or any tracking technology
  • Send data to any server, API, or third-party service
  • Include advertising SDKs or analytics frameworks
  • Require an internet connection to function

Local data

The app stores your quiz progress (questions answered, accuracy, session history) and study preferences (exam date, objective comfort levels, bookmarks) locally on your device using SwiftData. This data is never transmitted. You can reset all progress from the Progress Dashboard within the app.

Third-party services

AZ-140 Prep uses no third-party services. The app is self-contained and operates entirely offline.

Children's privacy

AZ-140 Prep does not collect data from anyone, including children under 13. The app is compliant with COPPA and does not require parental consent because no data is collected.

European users (GDPR)

Because AZ-140 Prep collects no personal data, GDPR data subject rights (access, rectification, erasure, portability) do not apply in practice. No personal data is processed or stored.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new effective date.
